Terms of use

A personal dashboard, used with authorized accounts.

These terms describe the intended use and practical limits of Signal Desk.

Acceptance and purpose

By using Signal Desk, you agree to these terms. Signal Desk is a locally installed personal productivity tool that summarizes activity from services and accounts you authorize. It is not an email provider, messaging service, emergency alert system, or guaranteed record of account activity.

Authorized use

You may connect only accounts, API projects, bots, and devices that you own or are authorized to access. You remain responsible for complying with Google, Telegram, Discord, Microsoft Windows, and any other applicable service terms. You must not use Signal Desk to bypass platform controls, access another person's communications without permission, or operate prohibited automation.

AI classifications

Importance labels are automated estimates and can be incomplete or wrong. Review original messages before making financial, legal, medical, security, or other consequential decisions. Signal Desk does not guarantee that every urgent message or notification will be surfaced.

Availability and changes

Connected services can change their APIs, permissions, rate limits, notifications, or terms. Features may stop working or require reauthorization. Signal Desk may be changed or discontinued without a service-availability commitment.

No warranty; limitation

Signal Desk is provided as-is and as-available, to the extent permitted by law. There is no warranty of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of data. To the extent permitted by law, its developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on summaries, classifications, missed notifications, or third-party service behavior.

Privacy

The Signal Desk privacy policy explains the app's use of account data and is part of these terms.
